Ottone

Ottone è il nome di una spiaggia situata sul lato est della rada di Portoferraio dalla quale è possibile ammirare il faro .le fortezze e la parte più vecchia della città. Ottone si raggiunge percorrendo la strada che porta a Bagnaia, una volta superato un Hotel che porta il medesimo nome della spiaggia troverete un cartello che vi indicherà come raggiungere la spiaggia.I parcheggi in zona scarseggiano quindi lasciare l’auto lungo la strada nelel zone dove è consentita la sosta. La spiaggia si presenta lunga 320 metri con al centro un piccolo pontile di legno, è fatta di sabbia e sassolini e si presta bene a una frequentazione da parte di famiglie perchè il fondale degrada dolcemente.Verso destra sorpassata una scogliera sarà possibile raggiungere la spiaggia sorella minore chiamata Ottonella. La spiaggia è dotata di servizi : stabilimento balneare, bar, noleggio ombrelloni,lettini e pedalò.Esposta a Nord si consiglia quando soffiano i venti da est,sud-est e sud.

Ottone is the name of a beach located on the east side of Portoferraio, from which you can admire the lighthouse. the fortresses and the oldest part of the city. Brass can be reached by taking the road leading to Bagnaia, once you pass a hotel that brings the same name to the beach you will find a sign indicating how to reach the beach. Parkings in the area are scarce then leave the car along the road in the areas where stop is allowed. The beach is 320 meters long with a small wooden pier in the center, it is made of sand and pebbles and is well served by family visits because the backdrop degrades gently. Right over a cliff you can reach the sister beach less called Ottonella. The beach is equipped with facilities: bathing establishment, bar, umbrellas, sun loungers and pedal boats.Exposed to North is recommended when blowing wind from east, southeast and south.
