Cala dei Frati

Cala dei Frati è una piccola spiaggia del Comune di Portoferraio,lunga circa 100 metri e larga dai 2 ai 10 metri. Cala dei Frati si trova compresa tra la spiagge delle Ghiaie e quella della Padulella; non essendo accessibile da terra, anche nel periodo estivo non si registrano affollamenti sulla battigia, i pochi bagnanti infatti la raggiungono solo via mare a nuoto. Significativa è la bellezza data a questa spiaggia dai ciottoli che la compongono e dal costone roccioso retrostante; le acque sono trasparenti e interessanti per gli amanti dello snorkeling che nei giorni di mare calmo possono ammirarne i fondali e la sua fauna.
